The Costume Collective was formed by freelance costuming artists who banded together when Guthrie rentals and Theatrical Costume Company in downtown Minneapolis closed. The Collective bought the Theatrical Costume Company’s stock as well as accepting a massive donation from the Guthrie. We are now home to the stock of Portable Costumes as well.

Yes! After you’ve looked through the warehouse (with help!) you can try things on to make decisions. We have six individual dressing rooms with mirrors.

No, cleaning is included in the rental price.
